TORINNE ZACH

artist | photographer | Stylist

Torinne Zach is a Brisbane based artist and fashion stylist. In 2015, Torinne completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at the Queensland College of Art and currently works as a practicing artist and photographer creating commissioned pieces for clients. As an artist, Torinne works across different disciplines including; drawing, photography, collage and printmaking. The interconnection between fashion and art, and its inspiration and tension that it draws from one another is one of the prominent concepts Torinne investigates through her work. Influenced by the desire and aesthetic pleasure of imagery in fashion and art, she continually strives to explore and challenge these ideas not only as an artist but also through her fashion styling.

Coming from an art background, Torinne’s styling is often conceptual and editorial focused. In 2018, she completed a Diploma of Styling at the Australian Institute of Creative Design and currently works as a freelance fashion stylist. Torinne aims to provide an innovative and unconventional approach to fashion advertising with her creative direction and styling services. She has worked alongside local designers, photographers, and talent on various photo shoots as well as directing, managing and assisting runway and special events. Similar to her art practices, Torinne’s style is eclectic and aims to curate a visual richness by combining different colours and textures through carefully selected garments and accessories.
